BC Place open house draws over 10,000 curious fans

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Over 10,000 people turned out today for an open house at BC Place to see how the extensive renovations and new retractable roof are looking.

The stadium officially opens Sept. 30 with a BC Lions game.

Great... now all they need is a team.

Gotta love BC Place Stadium.

The Province owns it so the monies for repairs came out of Provincial Taxes. I wonder how many people from Prince George or Gold River got around to see their tax dollars at work like those Vancouverites.

And in the immortal words of Gordon Campbell BC Place Stadium is good for BC, although he never explained how.
