If I was a betting man I'd put some money down on A. Him being released B. Him dissapearing C. Him getting granted asylum when a new Government comes into power.
He will most probably be excecuted if he lands in China many more have been for lesser crimes and I'm guessing that will be enough to keep him in Canada.
According to the news the Chinese gov't has agreed not to off the weasel. But with that being said I'm pretty sure a lenghty stay at a reeducation camp in Manchuria is in his future.
