Gabrielle Giffords can Kiss her Husband

In The States we have benn bombarded with individuals like former Governor Ron Blagoyovitch a convicted lier, thief, and basically corrupt as they come.

We also have Anthony Weiner of New York who use to infect the US House of Representatives. This guy was so repulsive he could make your skin crawl from sea to shining sea.

We also have other examples of people whos behavior makes your skin crawl.

This has nurtured the cynical view that many in this country have our elected officials and has been a terrible example of our worst and most twisted (rather than our best and brightest) to the rest of the world.

This story however goes a long way in redeeming our system and our culture.

We have here a congressman who was shot in the head by a psycotic who with unbelievable guts and determination is rebuilding her life with a very loving and caring husband. We all hope that she will recover a lot more and even hopefully return to congress.

This is someone we can be proud of and is someone we can show to the rest of the world this is the stuff of which we are made for all to see.
