Sometimes it is the only way to go. He didn't harm anyone, he didn't scare anyone, he didn't threaten anyone.

I sorta have a bit of respect for this guy... He could have robbed the place and pay for his check ups in some foreign country with that money, but he didn't.

A few thousand bucks won't go very far in a foreign country either.

I guess this guy will have to try again, as he was only given a week in jail.

What, the fact that the average bank robber is lucky to get a few thousand bucks, or the fact this guy was charged with larcency not robbery and only got a week. The latter was in stories I read - you could look it up if you want. In fact this story I'm pretty sure was already posted on CKA before.

That he got only a week. He was scheduled to appear in court yesterday...

That's strange. I'm sure I read this story some days ago, and it said he would only get a week. Anyway, he should have just asked for more money, then he would be eligible for a longer sentence.

Pretty sad when people feel hey have to resort to these kinds of actions just to get care and coverage.
