VANCOUVER -- On streets scorched by flames, littered with broken glass and studded with the blackened hulls of torched cars, an army of citizens converged Thursday morning to cleanse the wounds and set things right.
And no one cares about the true Vancouverites that actually cleaned this mess up...it wasnt the idiots that caused but US!!! the TRUE fans of the game!!! And that love our City.
Wednesday night there were a number of people being complete jerks, what is going on now is showing the folks of Vancouver at their best. The folks going in and cleaning up the mess are folks to be proud of.
I'm proud that I live in a country that borders next to these kind of people.

Everybody cares. It has had some pretty good coverage, as it should have.
Fact is tho, that positive news usually is no news. I have seen the clean up broadcasted on various stations, and there are plenty of internet pages made (one by the mayor of Coquitlam (|Richard Stewart), who personally put all the volunteers he saw on photo and published them all on the CTV "post-riot clean up" page.
