This is what happens when a hockey team becomes a diving team.
Embarrass the Refs enough times and you won't get the calls. And don't forget to play the NHL and Gary Bettman hate the Canucks and Canada card, oh wait you've already used that when things looked grim during the Hawks series.
These playoffs are absolutely the worst display of officiating I have ever seen!! If the refs made a call or two in the early part of the games, it puts an end to all the bullshit, including the diving. When Sedin gets a misconduct penalty for being punched in the face at least 4 times, there is something wrong. I would question this if it was the other way around as well, so don't think I'm biased towards the Canucks. Its been an embarrassment to hockey fans.
Well, I'm glad you stuck the "Gallagher" in front of this, so that I would know right off the bat not to take this seriously. Gallagher's a clown.
What is BS is no call on Boychuk for the attempt to injure on Raymond. I thought the league was supposed to be getting serious with this stuff? It was late and Raymond didn't have the puck, and it appears as if he's more seriously injured (fractured vertebra; read "broken back") than Horton, who was laughing it up at the Gardens Monday night.

Maybe. But what should really "embarrass the Ref" is when a player in a game you are officiating suffers a broken back due to vicious illegal hit, and you miss the call.
I seriously doubt Gallagher is correct, but, with that being said, if we see 3 or 4 calls against the Canucks and none against the Bruins early in game 7, he may have a point.
The officiating for the whole NHL playoffs has been a fucking joke and not just the finals. There have been serious non calls and far to many calls that have changed the outcome of games for it to be anything but a major display of incompetence by the officals and the leaque.
If you don't think so why is Kerry Fraser continually defending the Refs on C'mon ref. Even his lame answers can't explain away what's been a piss poor performance this playoffs by the officiating staffs caused by what appears to be a lack of direction by the league?
If they clamped down on "both" teams at the start of the game and called each game consistantly we wouldn't be having this discussion.
But then again if they did that we'd likely have two different teams playing in the finals.

Then again I've always had a vindictive streak against the Bruins since childhood for no actual reason. I will not pretend to be unbiased.

but Boston has nothing that qualifies as a team for any sport.
Fuck you.
