This series could easily be 2-1 or even 3-0 Bruins... It's a lot closer then Canucks fans realize...

But it's not. The Canucks outplayed them in games 1 and 2 but were a massive train wreck in game 3.

    Can't say I agree.

Boston outshot Vancouver in Game 1 with both teams showing dominance at certain points while game 2 was a great effort by the Canucks.

In the end, it all comes down to the goalies and I Luongo wasn't very good last night.

The series will be going back to Vancouver tied 2-2. :)

    Bruins in 6.

Its pretty bad when Alberts is your best defenceman. When Erhoff goes to Gillis this summer to get a new contract, Gillis should show him a replay of last nights game. Should be able to sign him for the league minimum, or better still don't sign him at all. Good luck to Nathan Horton.

As I was checking the scores last night, I grew gradually less pissed at having to work last night. UGh.

0-0 at the start of the next game. Vigneault should dress seven D the way he's going through them. Pull Tambellini. We'll get back in this series the same way we did with the other ones--clicking on the power play.

Luongo had a stinker, but Thomas is known for those too. And we outplayed Boston in Games 1 and 2, so that's a plus.

I have to agree that the series is much closer than the current 2 games to 1 shows.

Take away the major mistake in each games (the gaffe leading to Torres goal in Game 1 or Thomas getting so aggressive in OT in Game 2) and it could easily be 2-1 for Boston instead. Still, I wonder if Boston shot its bolt in Game 3 by scoring so much. Teams that get hammered in the Stanley Cup finals have a nasty tendency to win the next game.

I have no idea who's going to win the series, but I don't really care one way or the other, as I don't care for either team.

Luckily for Vancouver hockey doesn't use aggregate scoring.

If Vancouver wins the next 2 games my similar 1 goal margins they'll be the only team in history to win a Stanley cup with a negative goal differential.

Luongo the defence had a brutal game.

Boston's goaltending and defence is playing better and that's what I think will take them to the Cup. Vancouver's defence isn't very good right now, too many holes and Luongo is going up against the guy who'll probably win the Vezina again this season.

In other news, Rome is done for the series (4 game suspension). Good riddance -- nasty, cheap and late hit.

Horton is also finished for the year with a "severe concussion" (bruins.com).

I'll take Vancouver's defence over Boston's, last night's game excepted. Same thing happened in the Chicago series. A big hit rattled the Cancuks and rallied Boston. But tomorrow's another game. And Thomas has been known to have off games too.

Rome was pretty much the weak link anyway. Still a good D-man, mind you, but on the bubble.

Wasn't all that cheap. Horton should learn to keep his head up. But it was stupid, that's for sure. Rattled the Canucks and rallied Boston.
