Although I would be happy Winnipeg had a team again, I do forsee them not keeping it for a long period of time. I do not think Winnipeg has the corporate infastructure to support the team and even though it seems they have loyal fans, I do not think the economics will enable the team to survive there long. If the Canadian dollar starts to fall below the American again and get down in the range it was when the Jets left, the team would face the real possibility of moving again.

So the Thrashers situation was so desperate a move was warranted, but Phoenix's soap opera level debacle of a situation isn't?

When the Phoenix Coyotes become the Hamilton Steelers, I'll be impressed. I love the Leafs, but tickets (and the evening out) are just too damn expensive. I would drive to Hamilton for the same experience.

Never happen. Toronto and Buffalo would claim they were losing fans to Hamilton. I agree though that it would be nice to see a team there.
