Campbell's predicament is an unfortunate byproduct of the unpredictability of the unplanned surgery list, said Fraser Health Authority spokesman Roy Thorpe-Dorward.

"We're certainly sympathetic and understanding that that is not an ideal situation," said Thorpe-Dorward. "It must be very frustrating."

Fifty bucks says Roy has never broke an arm.

Then again it will be the Day Hell Freezes before any public employee will come out and say "Sorry, we FUCKED UP".
They might get a verbal warning or something awful.

Another victim of the severe employment crisis in the medical area, some doctors are getting horrendous amounts of overtime due to the lack of doctors/surgeons.

Hard to tax all your rich people when most of them live in the USA.
