Greenpeace New Zealand's political activities mean it cannot register as a charity, the High Court has decided. Greenpeace appealed against a 2010 ruling by the Charities Commission which found its promotion of "disarmament and peace" was political rat

Wow. When the Kiwis dump Greenpeace as a charity, that's being told.

We could use a similar initiative here. To my mind charity is feeding the hungry, housing the homeless or healing the sick. If you're not doing that, you aren't a charity. So long activist NGOs and thinktanks. No more living tax-free off my dime.

    Nice.

When one of the most socialist countries this side of Cuba say's your Left Wing Radical Activist Organization isn't a charity, I'd say it means ......................you're probably not a charity.

Does this means Al Gore and his followers can't claim Church status any time soon?

Breaking the law means you can't ask the law to protect your organization. Novel idea.
