The CN Tower will add a new attraction this year that could make bungee jumping look like a walk in the park.

I don't see how it would make "bungee jumping look like a walk in the park", but ok. The idea is awesome, as will the suicide attempts be.

Oddly I have no fear of flying in any attitude, but there is no fricken way you'll get me to strap my ass to that thing and look down.

I wondered the same thing, if they locked the harnesses. However I've never heard of someone going sky diving and not opening the chute to kill themselves so maybe we just have warped minds to think that up.

As far as doing the walk, HELL YES!

Part of me wants to do it, but the part of me that doesn't want to walk around afterward in shit stained pants may overrule the former part.

    Doesn't count.

He jumped from floor number 147... the building has 160 floors.
He landed on floor 108... he didn't make it to the bottom.

Police sources say that the man worked at the tower and had previously asked for vacation days that were denied by his employer.

8O Wow, most of us just file a grievance.

Even still.. It would be hard to call it a "Fail". 160 floors.. 39 floors. Who cares.

How the heck did that story get on Gizmodo though?

Oh hell yeah I'd do this in a heart beat.

P.S. not the suicide thing though.

Why would suicidal people target this as a method? They'll be hooked up as secure as a bungee jumper (places that logically would also be targeted by suicidal people). Hell skydiving outfits would be a greater possibility. Just be solo qualified and don't pull the rip cord. Mind you most modern jumpers have auto deploy chutes and other safety type mechanism.

No offense but dragging possible suicide attempts is just wrong. :?
