A five-year-old boy pleaded with his father to stop stabbing him as the blows kept raining down, but the man continued until the child was dead, the final Crown witness at Guy Turcotte's trial testified Friday.

To say this jerk is one sick bastard is an understatement.

He might get a life sentence which translates into 2 weeks in prison.

They were stabbed in a rented home in Piedmont, Que., where Turcotte was also discovered after having ingested washer fluid.

No problem with killing your 2 kids, but too stupid to grab the right bottle.

I believe this is the same case where the 5 yr old boy put his arms around dad and said "don't cry, daddy" just before daddy killed him. This just breaks your heart. How does a cardiologist get so far lost in his own mind? I'm surprised he's not pleading insanity, tho maybe saying he didn't have intent is the same thing.

    Heart breaking isn't the world.

I can't make any sense out of this. Murdering your children just doesn't compute, it is so bizarre. I don't now how someone can get that lost in their own mind.

This is one of the few cases I would believe the insanity defense. It is so foreign to the way we thing.

May his children rest in Peace, they certainly didn't have much in their too short lives.

I believe he's nuts. But I also believe that means he shouldn't be released for a long time, not start getting day passes after a year.

I believe he is a shit who deserves what he f&^%ing gets and may he get the worst, to do something like this for so shallow a reason than he wanted to kill himself, guess what asshole you could have left the kids with their mother, and to painfully and repeatedly stab your children to death while you attempt a relatively painless (comparitavely) way to die yourself..... makes me want to choke the fucker to death myself
