Good plan. We should prevent male mutilation as much as we do female. If someone wants to be circumcised, let them do it as an adult and they can make an informed decision.

Irrelevant. Eunuchs and geldings don't get circumcised anyway.

Circumcision is a ritual obligation for infant Jewish boys, and is also a common rite among Muslims, who account for the largest share of circumcised men worldwide.

The leading proponent of a ban, Lloyd Schofield, 59, acknowledged circumcision is widely socially accepted but he said it should still be outlawed.

    So are burqa's.

“I think that people are very likely to react to it as interfering with religious practices,” Davis said.

As would/should people to a burqa ban.

So that solves every discussion about that. :P

The "ban circumcision" thing has been going around for quite some time now. It's really stupid in mho. If you've ever seen the pain a guy goes through if it has to be done later on in life it would for sure make you a firm believer in doing when they're babies.

The State has no business in the underwear of the nation.

Besides, I like the Darth Vader helmet look as opposed to the turtleneck thing.

Because it can become infected. My brother inlaw had it happen, it's actually quite common.

Everything can become infected, but the fact that it can shouldn't be a reason to cut it off. A toe nail can get infected, shall we take all nails off?
When it does, it's early enough...

(I'm actually playing devils advocate here, because I don't really care either way...)

Who would've thunk that my 40k post would be about circumcision...
