This is how to handle those fuckers:

A couple of days before, one of them (Westboro protestors) ran his mouth at a Brandon gas station and got his arse waxed. Police were called and the beaten man could not give much of a description of who beat him. When they canvassed the station and spoke to the large crowd that had gathered around, no one seemed to remember anything about what had happened.

Rankin County handled this thing perfectly. There were many things that were put into place that most will never know about and at great expense to the county.

Most of the morons never made it out of their hotel parking lot. It seems that certain Rankin county pickup trucks were parked directly behind any car that had Kansas plates in the hotel parking lot and the drivers mysteriously disappeared until after the funeral was over. Police were called but their wrecker service was running behind and it was going to be a few hours before they could tow the trucks so the Kansas plated cars could get out.

A few made it to the funeral but were ushered away to be questioned about a crime they might have possibly been involved in. Turns out, after a few hours of questioning, that they were not involved and they were allowed to go on about their business.

    ROTFL ROTFL ROTFL

    RIP Staff Sgt. Jason Rogers

Ten thumbs up to the good people of Rankin County for slamming the door right in the face of pure evil when it decided to visit. We need to hear a lot more stories like this one.

Nice! I wonder how much planning went in to orchestrating this?

I guess intimidation is acceptable in the south, if your message is extremely unpopular.

Yes, this is great. Let's call this Freedom of Speech ROTFL ROTFL .

If The US Supreme Court can feel that disrupting a funeral is appropriate behavior that they can say that this guy getting his ass kicked was symbolic freedom of speech.

We all know that this was unacceptable because of our right to freedom of speech. They got what they deserved, YES, but we cannot tolerate this denial of a "sacred" right.

But I have a solution... we get rid of freedom of speech. That's right, we remove this right we have fought for dearly from the surface of the earth.

But we replace it, not with a right... with an obligation, a restriction... to respect all others. Because if we have this obligation, we won't need the right to freedom of speech. If you respect others, you will allow them to speak their mind... but you will also speak your mind with respect.

Outside of the beating, I don't see any free speech issue. Nothing violating free speech about blocking cars in parking lots. They could have walked to the funeral to be dipshits...well if they didn't have links to the idiot beating victim.

God I love good old American ingenuity.

Then all someone has to do is say "They spoke with a lack of respect!"

I think the best solution is give them a designated religious protest area. If you want to preach your religious views, do it in this 10ft x 10ft square space.

Aside from the initial beating, I think this was a well orchestrated plan by a community brought together in their time of mourning to allow solace for the family of the fallen. No one's freedoms were infringed upon, and while the police investigation of a crime was suspect, if they had a legitimate crime and had even a remote possibility of needing info the the westboro types (maybe the initial beating), that was perfectly legal too.
