One of the main scientific goals of the huge £6 billion atom smasher was to prove the existence of the Higgs boson, a theoretical particle believed to give everything in the universe mass.

    Exciting, but a bit premature.

    leaked internal memo...
    unconfirmed...
    could be...
    a theoretical particle...

WOW, are you guys sure about this!!!

When these particles start burning HIS image on slices of toast, then I'll believe. 8O

Some scientists are now claiming that all other particles are false and must be destroyed.

If Muslins start saying that these are Mohammed particles, we may have a sub-atomic war on our hands. :?

Nope it'll be the wave theorists who take out the particle theorists....or maybe the string theorists.

We don't know exactly when the war began, but we do know that it was us who struck the Metaphors.

But, did you join forces with the conjunctions to do so?

    Nope.

One theory for the non-discovery of the Higgs Boson says that any reality in which the Boson is discovered, the Boson itself terminates and reverts back to a timeline where it was never discovered. Solipsism at it's finest! ;)

In this reality, I'd forgotten that you were going to say that, but when you said it, the fact that I'd forgotten reverted back to a timeline when I still remembered that you were going to say it... and when I actually knew, and cared, what Solipsism meant. 8O

I'm not entirely sure you exist at all. But, you were just thinking the same thing about me.

And no one seems to remember that Prof. Higgs called it the 'God ' particle for a reason!
