"It will be our recommendation that he is discharged from the RCMP," I sure hope so.

Then they'll re-hire him behind the scenes to train new recruits :|

Tom Engel, a lawyer around these parts, well known as having a 'hate-on' for cops, is also Clyburns lawyer. Engel made an excellent point though when he asked, - in a televised interview after the sentencing- "Do you think that if the roles were reversed, and Clyburn laid a beating like this on Cst. Sandboe, that would only have gotten six months house-arrest? No, more likeley that would be going to prison for a very long time"!

It seems as if, this guy was a loose cannon ready to snap, For a long time.

But none of his superiors,Or his fellow officers Would do anything to protect the public from him.

and once again, it took a video and finally get any action.

You can't become an RCMP officer if you have assault charges against you,but you can retain your job as an RCMP officer with assault convictions .

Fixed that up for you. ;)
