People in the eastern Newfoundland town of Conception Bay South may have won the national Kraft Hockeyville 2011 competition, but if the town's arena doesn't meet the league's standards, the game may have to be hosted in a neighbouring community.
Ummmm....that's bullshit...tell the nhlpa that the princesses can play in a small town arena for one night. I'm sure a lot of the players from the teams who are going to play started out in a little arena such as this. Let them hold the game in the winners town, period.
I have played/coached in rinks around the country that were not safe for Novice players, too much money tied up in these guys to risk injury because of an old barn, totally agree with the rink getting the going over

This has nothing to do with the players being princesses but everything to do with safety. You wouldn't allow your employees to work in an unsafe environment, why should the NHL?
