Anyone know what the carbon footprint value that'll be generated from everyone lighting those stupid parafin (cough*cough* petroleum-based*cough) candles at the same time?

Just like last year I'm fairly certain that eery light and electrical appliance in my house is going be turned on at 9 PM tonight. Suck on that fat one, you Suzuki-ist idiots.

Thank God it's losing steam. These feel good exercise do more harm than good, because it fools people into thinking they're actually making a difference.

    Very true.

Even if everyone in the West did it (and they won't),
there are 5 billion others waiting to consume in our place.

Thank goodness, hopefully this means this stupid Earth Hour may go away. It was an idiotic idea to begin with.

The first and second year they held this, a LOT of my area went dark. Last year not so much, and this year from what I saw around here, hardly anyone. Novelty has definately worn off.

If you were running for office in Ontario, I'd vote for you on that platform alone... well almost. :D
