First sunrise of the year celebrated at Alert with “Soldagen”

After being teased by ever-increasing twilight for nearly the entire month of February, personnel serving at Canadian Forces Station Alert finally celebrated “Soldagen” – a Norwegian word for “Day of the Sun” – on Feb 27.
