St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador — A special group of Newfoundland soldiers, who served during the First World War, were honoured in February when Prime Minister Stephen Harper officially unveiled the MV Blue Puttees super ferry.

It's nice, but the people need to learn about the story behind it.
A puttee is the strip of cloth wrapped around the lower leg.
The Newfoundlanders had blue puttees due to a shortage of fabric.
The Regiment served in Gallipoli in 1915, but was wiped out on July 1st 1916,
at Beaumont-Hamel.
Oh and I've heard the ferry has some teething problems.
