More stalking happens on P.E.I. than any other province, according to Statistics Canada, while rates tend to be lower in the western part of the country.

    Of course there's more stalking in PEI... you're never far away from anybody in PEI.

    Funny - years back an acquanitance of mine had a rather beautiful girl obsessed with him and she was clearly stalking him. This was around 1990-91 and stalking still wasn't quite the deal it is now. In any case, I asked him if she was all that bad and he started dating her and etc.

    They're still very happily married. :wink:

    Eastern Canada should demand a subsidy so their stalking rates come down to what we pay here in the west. We need a stalking equalization program, the SEP.

    Nice idea! Maybe you can create a tax benefit to attract Eastern stalkers to the West so you've got a better slice of diversity represented?

    I think it all boils down to economics.
