(Reuters) - Al Jazeera television said Libyan rebels on Monday rejected an offer by Muammar Gaddafi to hold a meeting of parliament to work out a deal under which he would step down.

I though the Colonel was going to fight to the death again foreign infidels as he his people love him.

Now he wants money and to leave gracefully, his loving people want to string him up.
