In the west of Libya, rebels claim to have taken full control of the oil port of Ras Lanuf. Some government soldiers in the strategic town have reportedly switched sides.
Reuters and Sky news are reporting there are air strikes as well as coordinated armour and artillery assaults at Ras Lanuf. Rebels may have the guns but the Government forces have coordination. The best the rebels have I have seen so far is cell phones and a ready supply of meat shields.
The Colonel may be invited to a Libyan version of a Texas Necktie Party, just like Saddam.
