She worked for 3 years and she gets 1 1/2 years severance? Why does she get any when she's the one who quit.

And because she did what the Tories told her to do, and she must be rewarded.

Its the capitalist way. Happens to an even worse degree in the private sector. Back when the airlines were really hurting and getting gov bailout they still had execs who got multi-million severances for getting fired from airlines they turned into failing businesses. I'm not a union mouthpiece but when I hear about shit like that I think "why shouldn't the working slob get the same treatment"?

35 years of service to this country, and I don't even come close to getting a liveable pension. What's wrong with this picture, and how do these politicians live with themselves? 3 years = $400,000 WTF (and I bet she didn't put her life on the line ONCE!)

I'm surprised that she hasn't been appointed to the senate

    YET!

is there any possible way that she can be sued by Canadian tax payers to recover these funds? This is like the CEOs of major corporations, who are responsible for record losses getting their million dollar parachutes, after driving companies into the ground. Stockholders should have that option to sue as well.
