I know they have been arguing about this for years,
but I think a lot of people are going to be really upset if this goes through.
    Especially now.

Just another nail in the coffin of the American worker.

    BUSINESS SEES BENEFITS

Allowing cross-border trucking increase competition, add capacity in the domestic market, and offer other benefits to business.

"We could see a more open Mexican border actually drive more ... freight activity in general, which would benefit the entire trucking industry," said Todd Fowler of KeyBanc Capital Markets.

If this goes through the next thing you'll see is nothing but Mexican Trucking companies shipping all the good in the US, because as we all know, profit is the number one thing for these loyal bastions of Corporate American Partriotism.

I'm guessing some Mexican making 5 cents a mile is alot cheaper to hire than an American making 35 cents a mile.

But the good news is that if it happens south of the border it won't be long before it's in Canada to and we could be lucky enough to see an increase in competition and other benefits, just like the Americans.

Intent on driving every paying job into the shitter, aren't they?
Why not just vote every 4 years on which 15 year old in Bangladesh becomes President of the US for $3 a day while they're at it?

It's why I posted it. Since we have easy access to the States, it's only a question
of time till we see them here.

You can see Walmart now shipping from China to Mexico or another South American
shithole, then running trucks from there, so even American ports will suffer.

I have driven in Mexico, wont see many US truckers anxious to be going south.
