    Today's world is a frightening place. Not necessarily in the events taking place in Arab countries or Russian borders, or the division in the America's. The apathy of the wests population to any form of politics, however, is truly terrifying.

    I'd try to figure out what you are saying, but I can't seem to care. Given that people are fighting for their right to self determination, and the Bahranian King just shouted 'let them eat cake!'.

    k i want all of you 'Canada is a police state' people to take a long hard look at this story...this is what happens in a monarchical/police state, the army and police KILL protesters.....the douche bags at the G8 who were only arrested should count their lucky stars we AREN'T a police state....i'm sure our police are much better shots than the Bahrainan military :twisted:

    If the G8 protesters faced off against a real police state they'd hop on their fixies and ride away as fast as they could.
