Fast-rising Canadian Milos Raonic advanced to his first career ATP Tour semifinal by knocking off Richard Berankis and second-seeded Gael Monfils beat wild card Tim Smyczek 6-4, 7-6 (6) Friday in the quarter-finals at the SAP Open.
