According to the general idea that US is "providing", the war in Afganistan is made for "help" it's people and government, you discredit countries that fight there.

The 2A6M CAN is the model that has been serving overseas since 2007, and is the model featured in your video.
The 2A4M CAN is the model being shipped over now. There are very minor differences in capability, as the 2A4s were tanks built from 1985-1992 and upgraded to the Leopard 2A6 standard, tanks that weren't produced until the very late 90s and 2000s.
Only real major difference is how pretty the tanks look. And I think the A6s are much prettier than the A4s.
