Not long after the war went south for the US.

It tells me they don't have a gruesome fascination with death
The person's dead..what's the point of stopping and trying to "help"?

I could expand on this view with a whole fun stretch into why I think vehicles separate us completely from our fellow man and confines everyone to impersonal living rooms on wheels. The reaction would perhaps be different with a person walking/biking by the body.

Once again, you miss the point, it's not the cars, it's the real world.

There is enough video on the net of people walking by dead bodies.

Reference what I said a long time ago Mr C, you got to get out more. People will walk by other dead people like nothing is wrong with their day. Hell, I've seen two Afghans walking down the street shake hands in greeting over a corpse for the simple reason of that being the spot where they were passing by eachother.
