Red dwarf stars have surprisingly frequent flare-ups, scientists say, and these solar flares' effects could be deadly to life on nearby planets.

    I guess on the upside now we know where not to look for habital planets, at least for the most part.

    Scientists determine that life not possible on planets with oxygen.

    "Oxygen is an extremely reactive and corrosive molecule, and there is simply no way any type of stable life could develop on a planet containing appreciable concentrations of this gas," said exobiolgist Glubink Kck'cff.
