We got about 10 cms of snow, most of which was gone by morning. 9 degrees today, lots of westerlies and partly cloudy.

Well my bit of Ontario wasn't 'pummeled'. I did get the snow blower out (woo hoo!) for the 10-15 cms we got.

If you did any winter sports, Brenda, you'd love it.
The cross-country trails and ice covered and a lot of the more difficult ones are too dangerous and closed. It would be nice to get a good covering too so that I could take my grand-sons toboganning.

The biggest challenge is getting out of town. The roads are so bad. Up hill, that is not a biggie, but down hill is a bitch. The snowplow got stuck on the corner of my street yesterday, he couldn't back up (up hill) anymore.

I need to get to the "city", but I am not risking sliding in the ditch because I can't turn the bend in the road because all of the black ice and snow...

When I lived in Labrador, my Yamaha Enticer snowmobile got me from Happy Valley to CFB Goose Bay for 7 months of the year. It was such fun too!
