After revealing thousands of leaked U.S. diplomatic cables, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange said in November that he was set to expose as "ecosystem of corruption" at a major U.S. bank.
By cutting off payments to Wikileaks these companies seriously only thought they'd be fighting Wikileaks? LOL, every company has people in it that hate it and are willing to sell it out. By targeting Wikileaks they just shine a spotlight on who these disgruntled employees can sell out to. Wonder how long before something from Paypal or The credit Card companies comes out. I bet their security divisions are a bit on edge right now.
I love it when individuals and/or organizations get all high and mighty riding the "morality train" only to have their own dirty laundry laid out for all to see.
I'd like to see a Wall street version of wikileaks. Similar to that guy who sold Swiss banking info that is leading to tax evasion prosecutions in the US and Canada. But focused on the mortgage debacle and what ever other shady dealing they've been up to.
"BartSimpson" said Hate to say it but, Bank of America is a far bigger threat to Americans than Assange and WikiLeaks.
As a former BofA customer, I agree. Does this mean you're gonna put off assasinating Assange for a few days atleast, until we see what he's got on them?

Damn right. If Assange and Wikileaks ever did something that fully exposed and brought down Wall Street it'd be the best ting that ever happened for the long-suffering American public who keep getting raped by those finance sector sociopaths.

If the American public, and the Canadian one too is getting raped, they seem pretty willing victims. They worry more about welfare bums and how we can't afford to pay workers a living wage than what's happening at the top.
I posted piece on this forum about what happend in Ireland. The had the lowest Corporate taxes in the EU, so all the companies located their offices there. But the profits flowed out of the country, the average working joe in Ireland was worse off once it became a "tiger" because of the housing bubble and price increases. But when the house of cards collapsed, the banks got bailed out by the IMF, but the average working joe has to pay for it. I'm sure this picture applies world wide, and looks like this won't be the last time either.

Minor correction for accuracy. I've never said much of anything positive about Michael Moore, but in 'Capitalism: A Love Story' he was certainly right about one thing. This current way of life has everyone falsely convinced that either thru sheer luck or hard work that they too can one day become part of the wealthy elite. That such things happen in such infinitesmal numbers really hasn't dissuaded anyone away from this myth, and that the present reality is what it is for as long as we ridiculously continue to allow the plutocrats to arbitrarily decide how the rest of us will be able to live our lives.
If the Devil's most successful lie was to convince the world that he didn't even exist, then the same is true when the carrot is held out to the rest of us that someday we too can become 'one of them'. It's been almost as big a success for the rich as the way that they managed to convince the middle class that the real 'threat' to us wasn't from the rich who keep actively destroying our livelihoods and job prospects, but from the poor who can't even get a foot on the bottom rung of the ladder. Ten million jobs get sent to China but people are still more scared of the 'Welfare Queens' to the point that the game stays permanently rigged in favour of the plutocrats simply because so few even have the informed intention on challenging them to make the system work for the majority instead of just for the permanent enrichment of a selfish and borderline-sociopathic minority.
Whatever. This goddamn elephant's just too damn big to hunt anymore.

Have you seen The Insider? It's supposed to be Michael Moore on steroids - much more hard hitting in how it lays out what happened. I haven't, but certainly plan to.

Maybe we'll all soon find out just how big
