Canadian soldiers in Afghanistan received a surprise Christmas visit on Saturday from one of their fiercest backers — Don Cherry.

    Ignatieff is too busy visiting the American side of the camp.

    Although I don't mind Don Cherry, he has no business going there.

    It doesn't specify in the article, but I'm pretty sure he wasn't there in a combat role.

    The one and only time Dion showed up troops had to be threatened to appear in a photo op with him! :lol:

    Even our Franco soldiers wanted nothing to do with him. I predict the exact same result if Layton was to ever go there.

    Although I don't mind Don Cherry, he has no business going there.


    Yea, he's a horrible man heading over during the Christmas season to help bolster the troops spirit while being deployed away from friends and family. :roll:
