Imagine being an elderly senior at Christmas and having no one to share the day with. No family. No friends. No presents to open.

    Nice find Hyack ! R=UP

    Being alone on Christmas sucks.

Dont forget to hug your family, even if they piss you off. :)

Nobody should spend Christmas alone. It's a time when people need to let others know they are not forgotten.

Years ago when I was still in the battalion there were always a few single troops who, for whatever reason, couldn't go home to family at Christmas. I would invite those troops over to the house on Christmas for a home cooked meal and a few drinks.

    Being alone at Christmas sucks.

    :(

Used to do that with the young OD's who couldn't get leave to go home. It made our Christmas better and I'm glad to say that most are still friends to this day.
