New hangar to house 15 Chinook CH-147 helicopters

CFB Petawawa, Ontario — On a cold morning on December 13, politicians and military personnel gathered at CFB Petawawa for the sod-turning ceremony marking the start of construction of a new hangar to house 15 CH-147F Chinook helicopters.

Chinooks rule. This is a good move by DND. Now, hopefully soon we start getting those new Cyclone choppers.
