Europe's travel chaos is easing slightly as airports recover following a winter storm, but travellers are warned they could still face delays and cancellations as airlines struggle to clear the backlog.
Be careful if you run into Gunnair. If he promises to introduce you to some girls it'll likely mean a cruise out to some hobby farm in Metchosin or to his heavy petting zoo at Beacon Hill Park.
Went thru Heathrow in the summer, I would swim next time rather than do that again.
What a joke. Last Saturday when we were sitting in the Punta Cana airport, there were a few people we met at our resort boarding their flight back to Frankfurt. Their plane took off just ahead of ours and I think was about a 9 hour flight. I was sitting on my couch at home 5 hours later watching the news. They showed the Frankfurt airport and all I could think of was those people we met and what they had waiting for them.
Do not fly through Heathrow, ever, for any reason.
It is without question the worst fucking airport in the world.
Amen to that! Last time I went to the UK I couldn't get a direct flight to Manchester (which is a great airport and had snow clearing ACHE and remained at full capacity for aircraft movements) so I flew to Prestwick and hired a car to escape hairy-Jockland. Much more preferable to LHR. I HATE LHR!

did you get caught in the snarl?
no, I have been in Victoria couple weeks already.
Plane left Frankfurt over an hour late though.

Thanks for the warning, I'm sure I'll get the same warning if I ever get
near Manitoba again.
