Police have charged the son of a man killed in a bizarre and fatal crossbow shooting at a Toronto library with first-degree murder, authorities confirmed Friday.

    Well, if they can't have a gun they'll find another way. And if we ban guns, crossbows, swords, maces, flails, knives, and etc. then people will use .

    It's a lack of situational awareness. It's pretty common worldwide that people don't notice some of the most outlandish things that go on around them. And then even when some people notice the event very few of them act on it. It's almost like they go into a kind of shock or denial.

    There was a lot of that during the 9/11 attacks. People were endangering themselves and others because they simply could not allow themselves to believe or process the event that was taking place right in front of their eyes.
