Who voted on this?

Since bureacrats run the country, having fewer snouts at the trough shouldn't present a problem, although representation still shouldn't be based on who can bitch the most.
Why are we fucking around with this ? Is it because it would upset the Bloc's balance of power in Parliament ? If Québec had a population boom and we didn't I can guarantee you the Bloc wouldn't give a ratt's ass about the rest of us and would demand more seats hell or high water.
Pussies.
What's the problem, we're known for being frugal.
Parties are worried about losing seats in Quebec, yet there would have been 30 new seats mostly would have gone to the Conservatives and Liberals, so who cares? So what if Harper loses his 10 seats in Quebec, he would have probably gotten all five in Alberta, several in BC and several more in Ontario, making it even more likely that his party got a majority. Same goes for the Liberals.
Stupid pandering to a province that overwhelmingly votes BQ is a waste of time IMHO.
Unbelievable.
Conservatives confirm they will go ahead with legislation to add more seats in Parliament
The NDP also denied having any discussions about sinking the bill and in fact, said it's about time the government brought it forward for debate.
"The Conservatives have sat on that. They did their photo ops, they went out and pretended they were going to do something about it," NDP MP Joe Comartin said Friday. "We need a national debate on this, the bill should be brought forward."
