I can see that bill picking up a little steam. Why vote against accountability?

Maybe, but it sounds like members of the band in the story are pretty upset over the revealed amounts their cheif and his staff rake in. Pretty sure the vast majority would like more transparency on their reserves.

The end result should be more cash trickling down to where it's needed.

What's the point? Those lapping up the gravy won't hold themselves accoutable to anyone but themselves. And if the Fed cuts funding to those individuals, they will then scream racism or play some other bullshit card.
The Fed has created a Frankenstein out of aboriginal issues and it's not gonna go away until someone with some REAL nads does what needs to be done.

Sure hope so, but the ordinary band members have known about this kind of thing for a long time. Just talk to any natives you know, they'll tell ya. Problem is official canada and the media, particularily the left-leaning, don't talk to ordinary indians.
