    Those rotten bastards!!!

Why didn't the police just open fire upon them? Clearly these scumbag chess types were a clear and present danger to everyone within 100 miles of that park. They should have been summarily executed for this outrage...Die you F'in Chess Bastards!!!

Well there were Queens at the table and that may have upset the strait lace cops. Seems the laws need to be adjusted a bit.

I don't know if the law says that you cannot be there unless with children than that's what the law says. Just because it may be a minor law or a stupid law all laws need to be enforced.

I think you're missing the point that a goddam SWAT team went in after these guys.

It's odd that Homeland Security didn't swoop down on them first.

They should rightfully assign a team of officers to each offender to wire tap their phones or trace their wireless handsets for locations to make sure they don't return to the park.

That should be an efficient use of government resources.

After all, what's the cost of deploying a SWAT team? It's not like there's no deficits to clear.

No, stupid laws need to be broken at every opportunity. Otherwise lawmakers will start to think they are the government. Mommy and Daddy do not always know what is right. Any law that limits public area usage by law abiding citizens is by definition a bad law.

But most people won't think it's a stupid law. With all the hysteria about child molestation, I'm sure it has support. It should probably be re-written that children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult.

Another possibility is that they don't want gang bangers and such hanging around. But this law makes it perfectly legal for a teen-ager to hang out at that park without a child under 12.

The concentration camp at GITMO is full at the moment.
