Well, it seems MacLean's was right after all !

Corruption scandals are getting public more and more every day since a week.

Culmination yesterday with a petition at the Assembl?e Nationale asking for the resign of Jean Charest. The goal was 100 000 signatures at the end of February '11... It passed that milestone at 18h18 EST. In less than 36 hours. The rate is about 90-100 signatures PER MINUTE STEADILY since yesterday.

Yesterday evening, another scandal: a ex-Liberal MNA tells the mayor of Laval, who is ruling without opposition since 1989, gave him 10,000$ for a campaign 17 years ago. This morning, a sitting Liberal MNA said the same thing, it happened 8 years ago.

Sources say that Charest knew it but decided to do nothing.

At to that the growing pile of evidences associating the Liberal with the Mafia and the construction sector. A lot of mayors also involved in corruption in the construction sector.

Yep... Maclean's had it right !
