In the Middle East, Canada must restore a balanced policy that holds out for justice for both Israel and Palestinians, including a Palestinian state. "Balanced in the middle East does not mean neutrality," he added. "We are not neutral between terrorists and democratic states." Justice for Palestinians, he added, would help contain Iran's hostile ambitions in the area.

    Well said Iggy..

Maybe he should go and visit Khadr like Chretien visited his dad eh? That would bring us some respect in the Arab world.

Politicians and Corporations (and vice versa) have damaged Canada's image.

PS: There is a nice media photo of Iggy.

Put on him a 'hooded shirt' and add some lightnings coming out of his hands: Darth Sidious

This coming from a guy who spent decades outside of Canada, but now he's an expert.

    Michael Ignatieff: Just visiting.

That affects his analysis how? I'd challenge you to actually critique his comments, but that might actually demand you produce something tangible.

    Shuffle on.

We've got our election here today and the question of Obama being replaced by Sarah Palin is a topic of conversation.

Which makes me wonder if it would happen again that Canada would go Liberal just in time for the US to go conservative? I don't why it is, but it seems we're political opposites anymore no matter which way either one goes. We really need to do a better job of coordinating our political pendulums.

Sincerely, you would see Palin at the White House ? I know she's popular with her populist message but really... you better find a better candidate for 2012 you would have a better chance to clean Obama's mess.
