The UN can lick my ass.

Or better yet, send him to Canada............. in a box.

Although I doubt you could find 6 real Canadians to carry him.

The UN can say all they want. This kid killed someone and will have to face justice.

I think he would be great over here personally. As he is now, he is becoming a cause celebre with the Jihadi’s we have within us in Canada.

The prosecution at Gitmo are right, he is a Jihadi rock star as he killed a US Army medic. He has real street-cred with these wankers. Leaving him with the Yanks will just increase his stature.

All the rest of the Khadrs do more harm as soon as they open their mouths on TV than any right-wing counter strike could ever do.

Bring the wanker back when he's done his year and let the CBC and Toronto Star fawn over him. More people will realise what a tossbag he and the media who support him are and our job will be done.

The other issue is, no matter how nasty this turd is, he is a Canadian citizen. He should be afforded the same rights that any other citizen would get.

To do anything different would degrade all our rights as Canadian citizens.

Well, I'm happy he'll get to face real justice as opposed to what passes for justice in Canada but...I'm curious as to when those responsible, either directly or indirectly, for the minimum 100k civilian deaths in Iraq will have to face justice?

    (free translation)

"You had the choice. You decided to stay. My children never had the chance to choose. They didn't deserve that someone like you took their father away." - Wife of Christopher Speer who died from the grenade Khadr thrown.

«J'entends partout qu'il est une victime, qu'il était un enfant. Je ne vois pas ça. Les victimes, ce sont mes enfants. Pas toi. Ce sont eux qui souffrent», a-t-elle lancé, s'adressant d'abord aux sept membres qui composent le jury de la commission militaire, puis à Omar Khadr, qui lui se tenait la tête baissée.

"I hear everywhere that he is the victim, that he was just a child. I do not see that. The victims, they are my children. Not you. This is them who are suffering." - Wife talking to the jury and after looking at Omar Khadr who kept his head down.

I don't understand a lot about our media, but I do know that they are not on our side.

It's not about "our side" against "their's".

Life is not black and white.

But in that case, it's quite clear.

He certainly isn't going to face it up here Bart. He's planning to sue us for 10 million and I'm afraid he might win, thats our fucked up version of justice. At least you guys held him in the can all this time. Thanks.

Can you point out to me in the charter of rights and freedoms where a foreign sovereign nation when dealing with one of our citizens has to abide by our constitution ?

There's a canadian in the states, I forgot his name because its not newsworthy for some reason facing the death penalty. I don't hear squat about him.
