A new British Royal Navy nuclear-powered submarine ran aground off the coast of north-west Scotland on Friday, the Ministry of Defence said.

    Doesn't look good, feather will be ruffled but in the end it's a sub doing trials. They are supposed to run it through the paces and that means the crew and the machine will have kinks to work out. It's when they ram another boomer that people should be doing the hatless dance.

    When you ground a $1.5 Billion dollar submarine, you're damn right someone should be doing the hatless dance, particularly since they were running on the surface at the time. It doesn't matter if they were doing trials or not unless it is proven that it was caused by a mechanical,etc, error.
