Well, to be fair now, with todays composite materials and the fact the Sherman wasn't exactly heavily armoured, it might be a fair comparison. At least they didn't claim the strength of an Abrams.

Nothing about anti-tank gun rounds, artillery or heavy machine gun fire. FWIW a hand grenade isn't supposed to have a whole lot of destructive force. It's only got 6 oz or so of Comp B.
