I pray they put it above the radar so the general public does hear about it. i may be wrong here, but im pretty sure that the international guideline when it comes to seeking asylum states that refugees should seek the nearest safe country. there are plenty of places they can go, if they are truly in danger. to risk crossing the pacific makes it pretty clear why they come here
