The controversial Ground Zero mosque in New York and Campbell's Canadian-made tomato soup have nothing in common, one would think.

Posted the last before finishing the story, 200,000 unique visitors a month, WTF is the world coming to? If we as people cared for and took care of one another the world would start being a better place.

I don't buy canned soups anyway. It's not like making a decent soup is all that hard.

I love Campbell's tomato soup - real comfort food on a cold day. I'll make up a bit for these fruitcakes. This will probably just remind people to stock up, be good for Campbell's. Now, if there really was a Canadian soup company behind this, that would be even better. Down with Yankee imperialist soup!

We've already been boycotting Campbells soups in my part of the world for the past few years. The shut down of the Campbells plant turned 700 people out of work in Listowel. I'm with Bart. Make your own soup. It's easy to do, tastes way better and is MUCH better for you than canned. Campbells shit is packed full of salt. It's one of the least-healthy choices you can make.

What seems to be lost in the American blogosphere is the fact that Campbell's halal soups are not offered in the U.S., and the company says it's not planning to.

Not against Halal, just against those who approve it. WTF? Fail.

What are these moron thinking of? They sound as if we care. If 3,500 hundred people stop eating Campbell s soup that would be a lot out of a few million?

There are things that would make more sense to boycott than this.

This whole thing looks likes its more of an attempt at humor than anything else. Did Christine O'Donnell or Sara Palin come up with this nonsense after smoking some bad grass?

Pam "The Spam" Geller is again jumping up and down as usual

I think Colbert said it best

"How dare they build a tower of Islamic soup so close to ground beef? It's offensive!"
