The federal government's decision to spend $9 billion on new F-35 fighter jets is "fundamentally flawed" and totally unnecessary, according to a report released Thursday by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives.

    No, as far as they are concerned Canada will never be in a "real" war and the USA can fight all our battles so we do not need an armed force.

    Imo, if we hang onto the CF-18 project long enough, it will become another SeaKing scandal. Death included.
