Yeah. And yet the public lionizes Brad Pitt, Joe the Plumber and no end of other shitiots while a bonafide hero will get five minutes of fame and nothing else for stopping some fuckwit from shooting children.

    Yeah.

The gunman continued firing rounds as construction workers chased him. One of the workers, Carlos Partida, told KGTV-TV that he ran to his truck and drove into the gunman to stop him.

"I hit him with my truck," Partida said.

So, let's guess: how much time would Partida get in a Canadian jail if he did that in Toronto??? How much would it cost him and his family???

A real life hero, I hope the school invites him to an asembly of some sort and the kids give him a standing ovation. Let him talk about his job ect... Treat him like someone to look up to for these young ones.

Well done Partida. You saved a lot of lives with you quick thinking.

In the UK he'd absolutely be up on charges for an act of vigilantism. I'd like to think that Canada would have more sense than to make the streets legally safe for the likes of a Marc Lepine.

    Yeah.

The economy doesn't run on heroes.
    Heroes represent unexpected cost savings.
