The toxic sludge that poured through several communities in Hungary has reached a branch of the Danube River, an environmental official says. The caustic red slurry was released Monday in Ajka, about 160 kilometres southwest of Budapest, after a reservoir

    looks like an old Commie factory, and they were never worried about environmental standards.

    Oh well, the people in the region will not enjoy this.

    Yeah, can you say Chernobyl and the Pripyat River, which feeds into the Dnipre River before emptying into the Black sea.
